How can I say how much I owe Sandy my foundation bitch. She was not a major show winner, but she has given me a fantastic start towards achieving the breeding goals I had set for Elorah Kennels. Sandy came to me in late 2004 at 10mnths old, She was excitable, exuberant, untrained, and loved people! I used to joke that the ideal home for Sandy was with a marathon runner with a ball throwing machine! Sandy decided her place in life was to be by my side at all times, and she proved to be a regular Houdini to try and achieve this. She was able to scale a 7 foot cyclone wire mesh fence (with overhangs) and then a paling fence (turned back to front so no footholds). I would open my front door to find Sandy with a big grin on her face, whole body wagging saying "arent I clever Mum?"
Sandy is now desexed and rehomed, happily living in Faulconbridge NSW. Her daughters continue on her legacy at Elorah.
Below are some recent photo's of Sandy in her home with her Shepherd companion Jack - Thank you Peter for the wonderful home you provide!
